Invalid Lookup Formula

This formula is reported to me as invalid and I was asked by Revit to either change formula or use correct lookup table:

= size_lookup(Lookup Table Name, "SWid", (Nominal Diameter) * 0.6, Nominal Diameter)

From what I learned so far, I cannot find anything wrong with this formula, it looks as all other formulas of this type. SWid column does exist in my lookup table, so it's really a mysterious to me what is wrong.

Ok.

What is the value for parameter "Lookup Table Name"? What lookup tables loaded in family? Manage Lookup Tables button.

Is type "Standart" only one in this family? Maybe another types exist?

Your questions move things forward, but Revit is still rendering resistance.

So:

1- there are no other parameters by "Standard" ones

2- lookup table name:

I thought that "manage lookup tables" command handles name automatically, but it seems to not be the case.

In fitting settings, table name is "Pipe Combination Wye with 8th Bend - Glued"

In Excell file the name is "M_Pipe Combination Wye with 8th Bend - Glued".

I added this prefix manually in fitting settings, and "invalid formula" error disappeared.

However, the story continued when I saved and reloaded family. I got this:

Im1.jpgIm2.jpg

Trying to use this fitting, "no lookup table" error continued.

Now things become funnier: when I went back to check my fitting via "edit family", the prefix that I manually put in Lookup Table Name ("M_") disappeared!

I tried it several times and every time I try to reload modified family into the project, my manual correction of lookup table name disappears and things are moved back to beginning...

1. For use size_lookup formula you must have loaded file with lookup table.

So first of all did you have loaded file? Screenshot with Lookup table manager.

I have it loaded, but, as mentioned, name of lookup table changes by itself within fitting settings, despite my interventions, and always revert to the same name whatever I do.

Now, though, I think that solution is found, at least for now: I changed csv file name of lookup table to match that unchangeable name in fitting settings, and now it seems to be working.
