Hi, is there any good tutorial to learn EnergyPlus together with Revit? I'm a mechanical engineer, I've already known quite of Revit but for my university I've to work with Revit combined with energy plus to do energy simulation or something like that...and i'm completely new to energyplus I never used it. Can anyone recomend me where to start or what to learn first to approach in the correct way?

Thank you

Energy Plus is "built-in" to Revit via the OpenStudio command line interface version shipped with Revit. So you need to learn how to use Revit's load calculation and energy analysis tools, Revit will automatically do  the EnergyPlus bit.

If you want to use EP as a separate tool then you need to export your model to gbxml format then import it into EP which you can download from their opensource site. There is comprehensive information on EP on their own web site
