I was removing some Revit 2018 Add-ins and unintentionally deleted Revit 2018 entirely... not sure how, as the files I was deleting are in completely different folders from the .exe of Revit proper.
I went to the Autodesk website to redownload Revit 2018 via the download manager. During download it said "Download stopped by user" (I walked away. I definitely didn't stop the download.) but the install button came up anyway. So I went forward with the installation...
The install manager seemed to run fine. But when I went to the file location of the install, the default <C:\Program Files\Autodesk>, Revit 2018 just wasn't there. The shortcut on my desktop still doesn't work. Revit 2019 and 2020 are still there - those didn't get touched in the first place.
So I went back into the install manager and it says it's already downloaded. I cannot for the life of me find where. I have restarted the computer, done this process again, and still the same problem. If I go back to the Autodesk website, it acts like I don't have it downloaded; it prompts me to use the download manager again.
