Revit 2017 text upgrade issue

When we load any of our families in a project that contain text, Revit 2017 will shrink the text box and the text will no longer be centered or even be completely smashed so you don't see the letter anymore. Is their any solution to fixing this?

I have included a image from Revit 2016 and Revit 2017 along with the family I used for the example.

I read through a few of these and I was not seeing an actual solution like maybe changing a setting in the 2017 template to correct the offset/Letter size. the only solution that I was finding is to adjust the box of the text in the family. This is not a solution for me due to the library size we currently have. Is there another solution that I may have overlooked?
