Rendering of pipe isulation

Hi everyone,

I am working with a project where I am trying to show a final render of a water supply system. I have a problem when I try rendering the solution. As shown in the pictures, the pipe insulation shows as if it was an insulation type with aluminium foil around it. I wanted to change them to look like if they had a light grey PVC foil around the pipes but, changing the material it in the piped insulation properties did not give any results.

Someone can guide me in the process to change the appearance of the pipe insulations for rendering.

SOLVED.

In case it helps someone in the future, the problem was that I had a material predefined under Families/Piping Systems/Domestic Hot Water. Changing the parameter to <By Category> solved my problem.
