Relocate multiple views on sheets

I'm creating a new model from our company template.  We have lots of sheets set up with views on them, all aligned to the same place so everything is consistent from one sheet to the next.  Every time we get a new project with a new arch model, the model is in a different place.  This causes us to have to resize our views (obviously, no getting around this), but we also have to move the crop boundary.  Doing this moves the viewport on the sheet.

Is there a way to align the crop boundaries to the new model location with out having to realign the viewports and viewport titles on the sheet every project?

we tried using a template with preassigned views on sheets.... didn't work too well mainly because of exactly what you are experiencing. 🙂

Every project is different, i use the Guide Grids, and tell staff what grid intersection to alight to the guide grid.  This is determined at the beginning of the project and emailed out to everyone. Then we let the staff place the views as they need them.

i.e. when we set up a project we tell staff to align the grid A-1 (or what ever intersection makes scene) to a specific guide grid.

I would suggest using scope box to control the crop boundaries and also look at RusForth Tools as this add-in has some very nice features to align multiple viewports and move the view title.
