@Anonymous hello, try to audit and purged your drawings if there are xref drawings inside bind it, clean as much as possible then try to reload again, and if possible share the autocad file so we can check. hope it helps. thanks

Hi @Anonymous

This error message can be ignored - Ok a then will reloaded

Your file  Revit_Xref.dwg contain elements from 170503_Gullhaugvn7_1etgDWG_Rev03.dwg  as Block not external reference is there any background/reason to do so ?

Hi,

Actually no reason at all.I didn't knew that.

I did:

  1. Recivied new revision from client
  2. Opened new DWG and used comand Xref,
  3. attached DWG, and saved.

This is correct, right?

@Anonymous hello, no. that is not correct, that is not the practice linking autocad drawing into Revit, no need to xref  your drawing into a new drawing you can directly link autocad into revit unless your xref drawing is part file or as whole drawings. thanks

Hello,

Check if the DWG is in the 2018 format, older Revit versions cannot handle some objects.

Open in AutoCAD and save in 2013 format.
