Aside from the interference check and Navisworks - is there an option to have Revit warn you that what you are drawing may clash with another element, as well as anything you linked in?

Thanks,

Revit has a interference Checker built in, but it does not run in "real time".

Not "real time".  It's an interesting idea... I am curious as to the additional processing power this would take and how it would effect working in the model.

You have a few options for realtime clash detection. One is called Clash MEP, and the other Is Bird Tools Clash Preventor.  I have not used Clash MEP because the licensing price is several hundred dollars. I do use Bird Tools because the price is very reasonable at $20 to get real-time clash detection. I think the price point of the Bird Tools Clash Preventor app is nice and at least worth it to see if it meets your needs.

Thanks for the mention @dmiller_SCE

The app is also free to try and I would love to receive user feedback about it in case anyone reading this gives it a try.
