Question about number 3 of Three Ways Switches

When I use the Three Way Switch from "Systems", the number "3" sometimes shows correctly, but in other places it is upside down and in other places (or most places) the number three is shown all or partially inside the wall.

My question:  Is there a way to manipulate this number "3" so it is looking up correctly, or in another way the same question, can we move this number "3" so it is located in location that we want without having to create a new family (i.e., without having to get into the intimidating Family editor and its process)?

The number "3" shown frequently upside down is my most concern.

Thanks in advance.

Have you considered making it a tag?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Thanks Rob.  If that is the only way to deal with this, then it is odd and an inconvenience that Autodesk Revit need to deal with so this number can be relocated without the additional steps, do you agree?

Not at all.

It's up to you to decide how you would like it to function and provide that functionality in the way that you see fit.

So, what else have you considered?

Inside the Annotation that is in your Switch family you need to make sure that the check box 'Keep Text Readable' is checked.
