Project Browser and Properties disappear each time Revit 2023 is closed

Each time Revit (2023) is shut down / opened we manually have to turn on and reposition the "project and properties" browsers.

Revit used to save them where we put them.. now they always disappear and need to be turned back on and repositioned

yes have tried deleting the UIState.dat file, and have full permission to it..

something silly no doubt,

ideas?

thanks Ennu for being kind enough to have a read and look at this
yes found much of that type of issue but we have no problems with moving them around and docking cumfy with that

weird thing is it just wont save the locations (or the "ON") status for when we next open..

have also got rid of Trend Micro for the grief that causes..
we might have to ask autodesk

Also had this same issue, updating did not work. Eventually had to get help from Autodesk Support.  Their solution:

The setting for the position of the Project Browser is stored in the RevitUILayout.xml file (stored in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2023).

Try going through the following steps:

  1. Close Revit.
  2. Rename the RevitUILayout.xml
  3. Launch Revit.
  4. Modify position of Project Browser.
  5. Close Revit.
  6. Confirm new RevitUILayout.xml file is created.
  7. Relaunch Revit and see if position has been saved.

Hope this helps out anyone else having this issue and ends up here.
