Pipe label not hiding pipe behind tag.

I want to tag a pipe and have the label hide the portion of pipe that is behind the tag. How can I change the settings to accomplish this?

After you label the pipe in the properties go to Edit Type select background > Opaque/Transparent

After clicking edit type I dont see the background option. this tag is suppose to automatically label system type and size. It would not be standard text.

Thanks

You need to edit the family_ then click the label, then edit type. Now you will be able to click transparent.
