Parameter with GUID - IFC import

Hi,
I have the following problem which I could not solve in any way:
Currently I have to import several IFC files exported from Aveva 3d into revit.
Since the parameters are marked with a GUID,

the parameters duplicate each time they are imported, resulting in an infinite list of parameters with the same name.

What is the best way to solve the problem?

Thanks for your attention.

Hello @Valentino.Pierant ,

Every time you link an IFC file into Revit, the IFC importer will generate a shared parameter file that belongs to that file.

When in the IFC file is an Instance and a Type parameter, the Revit importer will export it twice. One as an Instance and one as a Type parameter.

Question,

Are all the parameters shared parameters or only project parameters?

I posted a question about shared parameters on the Revit IFC discussion board.

Thanks for the reply.
The parameters involved come from the shared parameters text file the file generated during importation into revit, and currently also present as project parameters in the file in the automatically generated revit file.

Currently the procedure I follow is:

1- ifc export from AVEVA 3d
2-Link  ifc in revit in a working host model
3- Open the .rvt file generated automatically during the import phase
4- I copy the elements from the file
5- Paste the elements in the central model

This long procedure is due to the fact that I need to upload the work model to Bim 360 and the management does not allow the use of linked files. Furthermore, it seems to me the only way to make the elements individually searchable and to make the data set fully available on the platform.

I understand from your answer above that the question cannot be resolved in the import phase but that the association of parameters to a GUID must be inhibited when exporting from AVEVA 3D, is this correct?

Thanks for your help

Kind Regards
