Panels, Circuits, and Phasing -Construction Documents

I am working on a project that involves a few construction phases.

To aid in describing my issue, I will relate to a single receptacle. This receptacle will be installed in phase 1 and then demo'd in phase 2. Issuing a phase 1 hardcopy set goes as planned. After I demo the receptacle in phase 2, the sheet that holds the panel schedule associated with that receptacle changes to reflect the phase 2 modification, as expected. What i did not expect is for the phase 2 change to show on the phase 1 sheet. There doesn't seem to be a way to differentiate between phase 1 & 2 changes in a panel schedule. At the end of the day we will have to reprint and reissue pdf's for all phases in this project.

My questions is, How can i retain the appropriate info in my panel schedule when working with multiple phases?

So to make sure i understood the issue, you need to have Sheet 1 with Phase 1 to retain the old info even after going into Phase 2 demolishing phasing.

If so, Revit is a database system and can't keep old data when is been updated. So your best call to have different revit files versions.

Phase1.rvt phase2 rvt etc...

I hope this answers your question, otherwise please let me know if i am missing something.

Never mind with dwf, so you could export that sheet in dwg and the reimport it back to a new sheet.

Just a follow up to see if the question is answered or you still have any additional concerns or questions about this subject.
