Purge unused?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I would purge all unused... also verify you are not modeling things that don't need to be modeled.  For example I would not concern myself with the inner workings of a piece of equipment if it will not be visible and is not needed to interface with anything else in your model.  This will be entirely up to you and what you need to show in your design.

Unfortunately there's no way to reduce the file size in a Revit model without deleting something, as is true for every other file type.

As others mentioned, you can purge unused items.

Also check for unnecessary views, design options, imported DWGs.
