New parameter doesn't appear in pressure loss setting table

Dear all,

Here is my issue: i have added some new parameter for pipe fitting, but when i generate the pipe pressure loss report, those new parameter doesn't appear in the Fitting and Accessories fields. Even thought old share parameters that i deleted from the project parameters still shown.

I have tried many options: create family parameter, shared parameter, create new file with autodesk default template... but nothing happen. (Actually, it works when i use my laptop)

Please help.

Many thanks.

Hi @Anonymous

I think that you can't put these parameters in the pressure loss report. But you can see it in the fitting list by adding a new list/quantity.

Hi guillaume.mayette,

Actually, it works on my personal laptop but don't know why it doesn't work on my working computer.

Normally, a shared parameter only appear in your project when you add it to your project parameter but even when i create a new project by Autodesk default template, some old shared parameter still show in the report.Capture.PNG

Thank you

hI @Anonymous?

Did you check in your Revit setting the default location for shared parameter ?

Maybe it goes directly to your folder to get these parameters.

Hi guillaume.mayette,

I deleted those shared parameter from the Project Parameter and the file as well. Beside, those parameters don't appear in the properties panel (instant & type properties) of the element but they're there in the report and schedule.

Thank you

Hi @Anonymous,

If these parameters are Type Parameters then they don't appear in the Property Panel. Only Instance Parameter appear there.
