Multiple Visibility Parameters to single object

I currently have a generic annotation symbol of an automatic damper that we use for details and diagrams. I have it set to have visibility parameter to show as existing or new. What I'm trying to accomplish now is to have the ability of the the damper portion attached to the top, bottom, left, or right as needed with also being able to be existing or new. As you well know you can't set a single line to have multiple visibility settings, at least I can't figure it out. I have attached the revit file to this post. You will notice that it's basically the same symbol each in a different line weight. They are set directly over top of each other and set to existing or new. I am wanting to be able to have the damper portion to have a new and bottom parameter for the heavier line weight and existing and bottom for the lighter one. Is this possible or is their a work around to accomplish this?

Not sure if I completely understand what you want. I think that you want to show the heavier lineweight elements if the parameters new and bottom are true and to show the lighter lineweight elements if the parameters existing and bottom are true?

If that is the case than you could use some boolean algebra to accomplish this.

The visibility of the lighter lines elements you link to the "Visible_Lighter_Lines" parameter and the visibility of the heavier lines elements you link to the "Visible_Heavier_Lines" parameter.

Depending on the choices you make for the "New" or "Bottom" parameter will influence the visibility of the elements

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Thank you, looks like what I'm after. Now can I do that for a Right, Left, and Top option? That way I could place it and choose if I wanted the damper to go in any direction off of the actuator by selecting top, bottom, right, and left. I would just rotate the symbol in the view but I'm having a hard time getting the "A" in the actuator portion to stay vertical.  Please advise.

Also I have a question as to what visibility parameter do I attach the lines to? I can't attach select more that one so the lighter lines need to attach to either; bottom, Visible_Lighter_Lines, or Existing and visa versa for the heavier lines as new.

Hello,

In this case you will need to create another yes/no parameter, called Line for example, that it´s state depends on a formula that considers the other inputs.

Regarding to the text, check the Keep Readable parameter, then the A will be oriented to botton or right, if you need it vertical on both situations, you will need two texts, one horizontal and another vertical, and control their visibility.

Hi please have a look at this. Now the visibility of the object is controlled by the integer slider.

I would like to build on this type of visibility, but I think my formula is messed up.

When the cover sheet option is visible, I want to be able to select the consultant information, sometimes I will not have all of them. which makes be believe it will need to be an (IF) formula

Hello,

Just use COVER, no if is necessary for yes/no parameters.
