[Model Checker] Grey value Yes/No parameter check

Hi,

We are using the Model Checker from the BIM Interoperability Tools

Because we have added project parameters to our model the elements that are added, get the "grey" value automaticly for that parameter.
Now we would like to check the value of this parameter.
We want to know if it's truely checked (true) or not checked (false)
But somehow Revit always the model checker always sees them as FALSE.

This has to do with how the Model Checker can get confused with parameters that Revit thinks don't have a value.

You need to do some more filtering. You need to incorporate Parameter "Has Value" or "Has No Value" in your check filters to narrow down the elements. If a checkbox is in that gray "null" state, according to Revit, it has no value.

I would recommend using Revit Lookup as part of your Model Checker building arsenal. It is a great way to look at the element's parameters and see what reports back that you can use to do advanced filtering like this.

So you are saying you can't check on a "null" status in this case.
That's a pity. Because that's what we want to check.

I guess I wasn't clear. I believe if Model Checker thinks the parameter does not have a value, then it is "null". You will need to make some checks to test and confirm.
