MEP Hidden Line. Missing

Does anybody know why I can't see the MEP hidden line in mechanical settings.  I'm having an issue with overlapping pipes and would like to show a gap.

Is your view set to Mechanical Discipline? What is the scale of the view?

I tried using mech discipline and messed around with scales but I still don't see that MEP hidden line style.  I do see it when I open a new project t using the mechanical default template.  I tried to bring over that line style using project transfer but I still don't see it

Yes. That's what I'm supposed to see. But i dont see that mep hidden line.  I bet it's because I didn't use a mech project template Rte file to start with.  I was hoping I could transfer that line style from an new mep project into my construction project via transfer projects stuff but that line style is not transferring into my project.  It must be a system line type I guess

You can transfer line styles and mechanical settings. And there is nothing magical about that line style, you can recreate it manually and add it to you MEP settings.

Oh good, glad to hear that.  Although I did try all of that too.  I must be doing somthi g wrong,, I wonder if my pipe system filters are messing it up.   Idk. I'll have to try again in the morning when I'm not so tired.  I've been at it for hours. Ugh
