Mechanical Family not working in project

Hello,

I have a query about revit families.

I have created a family, it is working fine in family template but, when I am loading it in project it says can't make the type. what will be the possible errors.

can you please help me with that.

That message generally means that for one reason or another the family geometry is breaking, even if it flexes just fine in the editor. All you can do is go through the family and try to find the cause. You can usually fix such issues by simplifying the way the family functions.

If you were to upload the family I could have a look at it for you.
