Dear All,

I am new in Revit MEP and i am trying to link Revit Arch. model but it is not appearing and showing error that " Linked model is part of a circular link and will unload nested instances of link". I also changed the the Reference type into manage link from overlay to attachment but still problem remain same.

Similarly, i am trying to link another revit link then showing error "The following nested links will not appear"

I have attached screenshot of both errors for your reference and please update me how to fix it.

If have any vedio is available related to this error  so please share with me.

Thanks,

Mukesh Verma

Hello,

Revit does not let us open two files that are linked to each other at the same time. It unloads the other file. No problem really.

You can work in the files at the same time without warnings if you run separate sessions of Revit.

Other solution is to switch one of links to be underlay.

I hope this will help you!

It looks like your MEP file is already linked into the arch file.   Now you are trying to link the arch into the MEP.  That is why you are getting a circular link.   Open the arch file and set the MEP link to an overlay.

If you are just testing linking, it may be best to delete all the links and start again.  It's possible there is a third file in the circular link.
