Hi,

I created Lighting schedule (first time - new to it), on some type of lights it gives me wrong count of the lights: i can see and highlight all in view only 8 lights, but schedule showing 10.. What am i missing I check whole floor and don't see any extra lights.

In the view, right click one of the lights and then Select all Instances > Visible in View.

What does the count in the properties pallette say?

Check the phasing of the schedule.

It is all preliminary design - Phase is "New Construction", phase filter is "show all"

Don't use Show All, use Show New or Show Complete.

No change. I have this problem with two types of fixtures on the drawing. Everything else counts properly.

Check that you are looking at the correct fitting in the schedule.

In the properties pallette you have the type as "exit sign ceiling" whilst in the schedule you are highlighting "exit light ceiling".

In your schedule you have 8 exit signs ceiling, 10 exit lights ceiling.

Exit light is just a Type property i am using. When i highlight row in the schedule it is sowing proper exit signs mounted in the ceiling - there is only 8 there, but in the schedule it shows 10...

Select the fixture in the schedule, then select "Highlight in Model".
This should find all 10.
Then Isolate the light fixtures using the Glasses button at the bottom of the view.
You hay have a couple of fixtures that you don't see.

JUST FOUND IT!
I had two exit signs on the second floor - but Scheduled level was Ground floor!
New user here 🙂
Thank you everyone for helping me! Really appreciated!

Ah, so you've filtered your schedule by Level?

I thought you were filtering by view by either using a custom parameter applied to the fittings on that view or using the "Filter by Sheet" option in 2023 ("i can see and highlight all in view only 8 lights, but schedule showing 10").

If you only want the fittings in a specific view it is more reliable to use "select all instances in view" and then apply a filtering value to one of the instance parameters (either use one of the built-in parameters or create your own parameter to act as a filter).

Glad you got it sorted though.
