Level difference from the linked model

I have linked the architectural model, the elevation in the MEP model shows the different level from the linked arch model.

Hello @Dipendra_yadav ,

What you need to do when starting your MEP project are the following steps:

1.       Start a new project using your company Revit Template.

(Tip: remove all the Levels except one. The Level with elevation 0)

2.       Link the model that defines the Project Levels. For instance the Architectural or Construction model. (Sometimes there is a project Level and Grid model that other disciplines can use for their project file.)

3.       Then copy the needed Levels and Grids form the Architectural model into your MEP model using the Copy Monitor function. (Not all Levels are needed from the Architectural model. Copy only the Levels that are defined as Building Stories)

For copying the Levels create a section first so you see all the Levels from the linked file.

For copying the Grids create a Floor Plan so you see all the Grids from the linked file.

a.       Go to the Collaborate Tab and select Copy/Monitor and then Select Link.

b.       Select the link that you want to copy the Levels and Grids From.

c.       There will be new buttons available in the Revit Ribbon.

Select the Copy function. Then select the Levels or Grids depending on the View your in.

When finished selecting what you want to copy over, select the Finish button.

4.       Then remove your 0 Level.

Now you have copied all the needed Levels and Grids over from the Architectural model and they will be monitored for changes in the architectural model.

I saw your other question where you posted the picture.

To solve this you could unpin the Architectural model and move it to the same Project base point.

I would always link the architactural Revit model based on the project basepoint principle.
