Working in Revit 2021, I am having an issue where keynotes are being updated on other plans when tagging a family with a different keynote. For instance two plans have receptacles of the same family type, even if they are not the same receptacle, changing a keynote in one instance has been changing already tagged keynotes in different locations. My understanding of keynotes is that they are unique to each sheet. Why are certain keynotes becoming associated with a specific family? There is also the issue of not being able to tag enough keynotes on a drawing because there are not enough unique electrical components or equipment to associate them. Has anyone else run into this issue? Could it be an issue with the way the keynotes txt file is formatted?

Then that how Element Keynote works. If you want otherwise, use User Keynote instead.
