issue with linking CAD file to sheet

Hi All,

I am trying to link some CAD details to sheets....and what I see is just the dimensions not the drawings itself

to replicate this I made a new CAD file and in the paper space I added a dimension to it

Capture.JPG

Then I go to my Revit sheet and click on link Cad file and this is what i see in revit!

Capture2.JPG

The drawing itself isn't there and isn't invisible because it cannot be selected or when I click reveal hidden elements nothing being shown

Any thoughts?

Cad file attached.

When you import/link a DWG file, it either imports the data from Paper Space (if imported into a Sheet View) or Model Space (if in a Plan View of any type). If there are no objects in the corresponding Space, then Revit asks you if you would like to import from the other Space instead. Revit is not capable of importing BOTH Spaces or translating Viewports. You will have to modify your DWG file so that all of the desired objects exist in Paper Space to import them properly into Revit.
