Greetings fellow Jedi ๐ Ahem, I am new to revit I just got my revit certified proffesional status, however we didn't go into the structute aspect and MEP AT ALL. Please tell me revit mep isn't a seperate program! Can you please give me some guidance because we only did architecture so it was just a glorified "the Sims" course and I know revit is far more powerful than that and I need to know more!
Many thanks and may the force be with you (Y)
There is a new MEP certification exam (took it last week at RTC North America) but it needs a lot of work. I'd hold off until Autodesk can tune it up a little, to actually test a user's MEP skills.
If you don't see the Systems tab on the ribbon, go to application menu (big R in the upper left corner) and then choose Options. Under User Interface, make sure the Systems tabs (piping, mechanical, electrical) are selected.
you can still buy it as a flavor, but we use the complete package. Somehow our MEP guys wind up doing a little architecture sometimes, too....
hope this helps - thanks - db
