or i have to place the insulation manually?
Hello,
No you cant use pipe which is pre-defined pipe with insulation.
But you no need to place that insulation manualy.
If you create an inteligent filters you can set insulation of all system with 3 mouse clicks 🙂
For example: If you select one of your pipes that belongs to a Sanitary system, right-click and select "Select All Instances, you should just get all the sanitary pipe in the current view selected, no matter what the size. You can then go the Instance Properties dialog box and assign the insulation thickness you need to all of your sanitary pipes in this view. In my little test, I ran this a second time and picked up all my sanitary elbows. However, you would need to run it again for different kinds of fittings so be careful. Also, remember that you will need to add insulation to any new pipes or fittings that you add.
If you use filter lots of problems will be solved 🙂
PP: My advice is to place insulation in the end of project!
