Hi,
I draw a vertical pipe below cut plane. It drops down and connects with a horizontal pipe. I expect to see a full circle for the drop, but Revit shows the drop's graphics as it is under the horizontal pipe.
Please see attached project file.
What is wrong here? How to get the "full circle"?
Thank you,
Evgeny.
Hello,
You need to change the setting in the piping system type properties, on the project browser, expand Families, expand Piping System, right click your desired system, selec Type properties, on the bottom of the type properties dialog you will find it!

Thank you for the reply. The parameters there look good for me, but Revit doesn't follow the settings. May be I understand the settings in the wrong way. What should be the exact values for the settings to fix the problem? Can you fix the sample project file?
Thank you.
Hello,
The view range and where are the pipes also interferes with the drawing.
Check the attached file.

fabiosato, thank you for the sample project review. I see that we can get the "full circle" if the vertical pipe goes up beyond the top limit of the view range.
Unfortunately it not the exact scenario I am trying to resolve. I need the "full circle" graphics for vertical pipe below view cut plane. You created a couple of pipe runs (tank you!) with pipes going up and down and having the same pipe drop graphics on floor plan view:
The picture demonstrates that Revit doesn't display the pipe drop graphics as expected. Would you agree?
Thank you for your help.
Unfortunatelly we have little options, maybe you can try plan region to change the view range and get a better result!

I am not sure that setting a view top limit to 700 mm for a floor plan is a good idea - we are not able to see pipes in ceilling space.
Using plan regions for every sink is tedeous, and can cause the same problem with elements in ceilling space. I am going to ask developers to make the drop/riser working as expected.
Thank you for your ideas.
