IF statment with checkbox

Hi,

I'm trying to change the direction of a triangular filled region in a revit family by adding two parameters. One of the parameters is type parameter and the other is instance and both of them are yes/no parameters.

My goal is to ask the users if they want to change the direction of the filled region. I drew two triangular filled regions, one pointing to the right and one to the left. If the instance change direction parameter is chekced then I want to hide the triangle that is pointing to the right and show the other triangle.

How can I do that using If statment in the formula for the parameters? --> if parameter one is chekced then the parameter 2 has to be not checked and the opposite.

I hope someone can help me soon. Thanks alot

Best regards Mulham

Hello,

You can use the following formula for the second parameter:

Parameter 2 = not(Parameter 1)

Using labels also works especially if you want up/down as well. Asigning the various direction arrows (as separate families) to a Generic Annotations Label and having a instance parameter to specify Left/RightUp/Down. Otherwise using what @fabiosato suggested works just fine for two (2) options.
