Referencing the attached image and Revit file, is it possible to create the "Out" format/option/connection (circled in blue pen) on the side indicated by the arrow (in blue pen)?  I really appreciate any help.

Of course it is. You will need an extrusion/void to center the connector on.

So is the Extrusion Void added to the unit and then I add a connector?  Sorry this is very unfamiliar to me.  I have only taken one class in Revit so far.

Yes, it is added to the equipment family.

Ok so I can't figure out how to place the Void Extrusion on the face of the unit.  I'm not sure if this is something you can explain through text, but if you can help that would be great.  Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous

I believe this is what you expect (having the connector on the side). You cannot use void with imported geometries and are also useless in this scenario. 

For modifying geometry you need to change things before importing in Revit all this body.

Wow yes this is what I wanted, however I wanted to leave the previous connection on there too.  I am would think that is possible as well?
