How Revit define Home Runs?

I'm trying to add wires to my lighting drawings but Revit is not helping, at all.
It keeps placing home run arrows where it shouldn`t and it doesn`t give any option to change it.
Does anyones know how can I avoid this?

See part 8 of this page

" or click in an open area of the drawing area to specify a home run."

That's not a solution. Autodesk needs to fix the feature so that you can select which you want as home run as you are creating it. Its extremely time consuming to set home runs for a hundred panels. We are dealing with a volume of work here with these projects.

You can create wiring automatically if you've created the systems and circuits but the OP wanted a method to control where in the system the home run arrow would be located. I think the solutions offered addressed that.
