I chanced upon this amazing revit MEP work and would like to ask how was it modelled?
I do not need it to be analytical or anything. I just hope to achieve its similar 3D model visuals!

Hope someone can help!

Can you be more specific?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Are those families found natively inside revit or do we have to model it individually from scratch to achieve the above images' results from Revit?

Yes and no.

Some looks to be Revit, some could be made from scratch, some are provided by manufacturers.

These vessels can easily be modelled using a revolve and some extrusions/sweeps:

The valve families can probably be found in the standard library or from manufacturers.

It will be possible but I've never seen a branch formed like that in my life.

Looks like a wye but its connected backwards with the flow aiming towards the capped end then reversing? Why would you want to do that?

Here it is made with standard fittings from the Autodesk library.

omg thank u! oh yea, because I just wanna know how weird shapes can be created on Revit... It's just to play with my imagination! 🙂

May I know which standard fitting did u use? And how do u get to it please? As I am still learning MEP/Structure 😞

I used fittings from the UK library but I would think there would be similar fittings in other libraries.

You can also access fittings from any Autodesk library from within the software.
