Hide Elements in Xref but not in the model

We are working with a Site MEP model where there are some MEP models as xrefs. The main model is a site plan and the rest are different buildings within that site.

Is there any chance to hide a category of one of the xref but not hide it in the main model?

e.g. To hide the lighting fixtures of one of the buildings xrefs without hiding the lighting fixtures in the Site model?

Yes.
V/G > Revit Links tab > select the link > basic tab > change to custom > model tab > custom > hide the Category
