Help positioning project base point/linked DWG to specific coordinate

Hello,
I have a dwg of control points that I am trying to get positioned properly in my revit project.
I have tried setting the project coordinates to the linked DWG, but that just set the project base point to some funky number.
First of all, I am not sure what units the DWG is using, the numbers are so big, I have to assume they are decimal inches. If they were feet, the origin would be 147+ miles from control point 1, in inches, the origin would be 12+ miles (More realistic).

The DWG Control Point 1 Coordinates are
X: 780383.2581
Y: 26741411.9920
Z: 17.5

I have been trying all day to get a new Revit project setup, get the DWG linked and get the project coordinates/ DWG control points to show properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

To me, the easiest thing to do would be to set the project base point to these coordinates and move the dwg-control point 1 to this position.

I can't seem to find a way to set the project base point to these coordinated though.

What are drawing control points?  Do you mean a survey drawing?  If so, here is the workflow:

- You must determine the correct Units by opening the DWG and use the command DDUNITS

- Link DWG in Revit, auto center to center, choose the correct Units

- If you have something already model, or you want the Project Base Point at a specific location in the DWG, then move the DWG link as such

- Select the relocated DWG and Acquire Coordinates

Thank you for the help, that worked.
I did figure out the units in the original DWG as feet.
The control points are just referencing the  points in the DWG that are being used on site as the points of reference for doing layout.

I really appreciate the help and apologize for all the goofy questions, lol!

Thank you!
