I am trying to add some URLs to a pump family. The family has about 100 types and I want to have the same URL parameter value on all of them. I tried using RF tools to do this for me, but the file seems to be so big that it just keeps crashing. Normally when I want to make a parameter constant across all types I just enter the value into the formula column. However, as far as I know, Revit will not allow you to do that with URLs. Does anyone know if there is a way to set the URL parameter to be the same for all family types?

You can create a schedule in project, sort by Family and enter URL once for every type of a family.

Thanks for the response! Is there a way to do this without placing an instance every single family type in the project? Right now I'm building families that will go in my company's "master set" so I need to apply the URL to all family types, not just a few.

Why not create a type catalogue and edit that in Excel? If you've got more than 6 types to a family then this is the recommended approach anyway.

This worked perfectly! Thank you! A "global" url parameter is still on my wish list though....
