Hello,

I am asking for information regarding the families of ventilation ducts and elements. Could any of you indicate where I could download sample elements for the model?

Secondly, could someone tell me what could be caused by blocking the element properties?

I cannot enter values for flow and speed on an existing ventilation duct and the same situation i have with a new one. Could the reason be be the lack of correct families uploaded? The installation has no interrrups.

Thank you

Last point first: the flow and velocity are calculated values which come from the air terminals and then propagate through the system. You can't change them manually, you need to edit your air terminal flows.

Ducts are hardcoded system families in Revit and there should be basic types in your model already. You should see them in project browser>families>ducts and there should be oval, round and rectangular?

To create new duct types you edit the fittings etc used in the duct routing options.

Fittings etc should be in your Library under the Duct folder. Most other items, including air terminals are in the library Mechanical folder>MEP sub-folder>Air-side components

You could also use Transfer Project Standards to import from a suitable Revit template.

Then there are manufacturers and other families from various sources on the web.
