I have a piece of plumbing equipment displaying lines outside the equipment that I want to hide (see attached). Despite turning off clearance lines in the view template and unchecking a "service clearance" visibility box in the type properties, it still shows these lines. My best guess is it's something to do with the family editor, but beyond that I'm unsure of what to do.

The service clearance switches off a 3D object but not the lines.
The lines don't appear to be controlled by anything in the family.
In the family go to reference level view, select the group which contains the lines, edit group, select the lines and then associate visibility to the service clearance parameter.
OK everything, reload into the project and choose to overwrite parameter settings.
