Duct Tee Problem with Parameters

Hi All,

I have a problem with duct tee. The problem is that I want that some of parameters act as type, but I want them to be instance. I have a situation as described below:

1.     In short, it is a tee with 3 parameters that define main duct connection

Picture_1.jpg2.     Most important parameter in this story is „Instance parameter_B“ which is meant doing this:Picture_2.jpg

3.     The problem occurs when I want to connect duct to duct connection „Instance parameter_B“. Instead of doing duct transition as I wish, Revit changes the dimension of that „Instance parameter_B“ automatically (as I don't wish).

To conclude I want that „Instance parameter_B“ remains instance but that Revit automatically connects duct transition to that connection (as it would be if it was Type Parameter). Any ideas how to do that?

I have also attached my problematic family.

Best regards, Branimir.
