Drawing code in material list

I recently received an inquiry from my colleagues at the construction site: They were asking about the possibility to include the conding that we give each component on a drawing of a ventilation system. To my knowledge, there are no such functions available by default on Revit families, but I'm entertaining the idea that a parameter could be included, where I can add the drawing code for each respective component and then include that parameter in, say, a schedule view. Any suggestions?

You could use the Comments or Type Comments field, or Description or Assembly Code or you could add your own shared parameter.

Thank you. The suggestion with the assembly code did the trick. I just had to add the assembly code to the schedule view, and everything else fell into place.
