Draw Order

I am working on a kitchen layout and need to display plumbing drains on a 2D sheet. When I place the drain symbol on the sheet, they look fine. When I print, the linework gets mixed up and SOME symbols are covered by the equipment they serve while others are not covered. In CAD, I could use the draw order option, but this seems to not be available in Revit. Any tips would be great, thanks!

couple questions:

  • is the equipment coming from a Link?
  • is it the same equipment each time covering the drains?

The equipment is not from a link, I placed them in the model myself. The issue seems to be consistent with floor troughs, and grid lines.

Are these two floor drains? If so, are they both the correct way up or is one of them upside down?

If possible please upload your model file or a cut down version of it so that we can open it and check settings etc.

what would happen if you offset them so there raised just a little, just 1/8"?

or, alternatively, what happens if you Hide the floor?

I raised them of the floor 1/8" all the way to 2" and visually there was no differences. I will try to hide the floor and see if that works.
