Creating Plenum Level - "Plenum" is not available in type selector

Hi All,

I am doing some hvac for a med school building in revit mep 2014. I am trying to create a plenum level per the autodesk tutorial, first creating a section, and then placing a level in that section. The tutorial says: "In the Type Selector, select Level : Plenum.", however the only items available in the type selector are "No Head" and "1/4" Head". There is no option for plenum level type.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Level "types" are only useful for changing graphical elemets of the Levels. If you want a different "type" with a unique symbol you will have to create it. It is not necessary for your purposes though.

Just pick the default Level type. Change it's Name parameter to Plenums or whatever you would like.

Chris, this solved my issue. It turned out it didn't matter what type of level it was. I was confsed by the wording in the tutorial. Thanks!
