Conduit Connector Types

I've noticed there are Conduit Surface Connectors, Conduit Individual Connectors, and Conduit Group connectors.

I can't figure out how to change the type or how to create a surface connector?  When I create a new connector, I only get Individual Connectors.

How do I add Surface or Group Connectors?

Never seen a 'group connector' but their is a radio selector below the ribbon when you go to place a conduit connector that allows you to select between individual and surface connectors.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm banging my head on the desk wondering how I didn't see that.

The individual connectors don't allow you to reposition them when drawing conduits.

The group connector is still a mystery.  I've seen them in some families, but not sure how they are different.  I believe the surface connectors also let you connect multiple conduits.

Surface connects drive me bonkers.  I have not tested any with them past R2020 yet.  Connecting conduits is rather easy if they are in the right spot.  Moving them had traditionally been a nightmare.  I have models that have individual connects that are applied to an embeded family that can be moved around with reference planes and dimensions.  Not as practical for a panel.  Sizes are also an issue for individual conduits.

You believe correctly, surface connectors allow you to connect multiple conduits to the same surface.

I don't know if its the same as using pipe connectors but with those I model a short spud (sweep or extrusion) to host the connector on the end face and then by using labelled dimensions you can move them around.
