COBie systems tab

Hello,

I am having a problem with the COBie extension for Revit.

I have a number of piping systems that are set up to export to the systems tab in the COBie spreadsheet. The issue is it exports and lists every element that is within each system such as pipes and fittings, whereas I only want it to export the relevant items within the systems that are COBie components.
i.e. I only want the items that are listed in the component tab of the cobie spreadsheet to appear in the systems tab if this is possible?

There are a few things to consider for COBIE export. Firstly, ensure that the COBie check box is only ticked for the items you want to to export. you can create a multi category schedule and add the following parameters. COBIE and Family & type. Select the Sorting / Grouping Tab and Sort by Family and Type, then untick the itemise every instance on the bottom left. Click OK, and pick the item you want for COBIE export.

The second option is in the cobie extension. Click Select and open up the categories. Here you can select which family, and also declutter other elements within those families.
