Change Yes/No parameter on different Family

Hello,

we have some different header that work with cold and hot, we have a parameter with Yes/No that we can change in model. It works a part from the fact that if i want to change this parameter on two different header, i can't...

There is a way to resolve? I have thousan header in the project

The issue is that this is probably that this is a family parameter. While the name might be the same behind the scene Revit uses a large number (GUID) to distinguish between the different parameters. So in different families the parameters will have a different number.

Some possible solutions

1-Modify the families and make use of a shared parameter. The shared parameter will have same number in all families

2-Select headers of the same family only (e.g use filters)

3-Make use of Dynamo to automate the process.
