Who could give me (a novice Revit user) some help/ tips?
We received a complete HVAC installation from a third party. All clashes have to be removed and everything has to be tagged/measured from the floor of the reference level.
Solving the clashes is not such a problem, but the dimensioning is. If we now look at previously placed dimensions, for example, an air duct is at a height of 3m, there is a bend on it and the connecting air duct is suddenly at 6m, for example. The reason is that one air duct has the ground floor as a reference level and the other air duct the 1st floor (with a difference of 3m between the two floors).
This is the case with everything, pipes/pipe fittings/duct accessories/mechanical equipment/air terminals etc. A major disaster...
How can I ensure that everything that is visible on the floor in question also has that floor as a reference point? That I don't have to check everything one by one.
Of course there can and are also deviations, for example because there is 1 large hall that is as high as 2 floors together. To select only those pipes/air ducts etc. and adjust the reference level to the ground flour is not such a problem because there are not many.
Thanks in advance for your help.
