Central model and linked model

Hello, 

I have recieved a file from our client which is being modelled in 2019 Revit version, and we use 2023 version. As soon as the file opens, it immediately starts upgrading to 2023 version which leads to loss of families and elements moving off axis causing inaccuracies. Moreover, changes made cannot be saved as it calls for Authorization error.

 

I tried with dettaching the model from central, however it did not work well, tried to manage revit links into the local model which again did not work. 

 

Here the Architecture is not visible as well, in 3D but is visible in floor plans. Checked with visibility and graphics, view range, Discipline everything seems fine in properties but no luck! Please Help

If you are collaborating with the architect, you should be using the same version.

If you don't have Revit 2019 and your client doesn't have or want to upgrade to Revit 2023 then ask them to export to IFC and link the IFC in your Revit 2023 model.  Do the the same if they need to link your model in theirs.
