CADmep file import missing items

ok, so ive had issues before of bringing in cad files to revit and some items are missing and it gives the "revit cannot import some of the geometry" error. normally what i do is explode, purge, proxy 1, aecobjectexplode, and flatten and one of those things fixes it. that is not the case with this file. also when i explode some of these objects they disappear, there doesnt seem to be any hatching (atleast i cant see it with all layers turned on) and i dont know what else causes that. anyone have this issue before or think of something to try? thank you.

Hi John,

Thank you for taking your time to post this on the forum,

Is it a file you've created yourself? Reason I'm asking is because it sounds like those objects have some issues.

You are more than welcome to share the file with me and I'll take a closer look at it,

Best Regards.

no it is not a file i created myself, and i cant share it on public domain because of an NDA. however i did send it to another autodesk rep and the company has allowed me to share it with autodesk directly.

No worries what so ever, you can send a link to it via direct messaging to my account.

- Let me take a look if I can find the file in the previous ticket you mention.

Thanks again.

You can use a service like https://wetransfer.com/ to share the file with me.

Just make sure to share by link rather than email and send it to me in PM.
