Hello,

I'm having trouble understanding when an element is exported to the COBie spreadsheet. I want my air terminals to show in the type sheet and then just one of each type in my component sheet. I see two options to select what gets exported the Select tool in the CObie extensions ribbon and then the checkbox in the element properties. I'm currently getting all the air terminals in the component sheet even when I have air terminals unselected in select ribbon and when all are unchecked in the properties.

any thoughts?

thanks

in the revit model there should be several COBie schedules created by the extension. if you opent eh COBie Component schedule you can Check or Uncheck the element to be included in the report. there are several other places you can controls this as well, but currently I do not have my models open? let me know if this takes care of the issue for you :-).

MEP elements that are connected to systems have another way they might get exported to the spreadsheet with the COBie Extension. Go to your COBie settings and go to the Systems tab. There is a checkbox that tells the COBie Extension to export all the elements connect to a systems even if you don’t have them individually checked. Uncheck that and see if it helps.
