air terminal renders different in plan and 3d.

so the title pretty well explains it. i edited the OOTB supply diffuser family to 6x6 and in plan view its 1'6 3/4" x 6 and in 3d its 6" x 6". im guessing there is a parameter thats causing this but i dont know which one. i have attached a screen shot.

There are a few OOTB families but I believe what you are running into is that the 2D lines are not locked to the 3D.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

ok ill look into that and the OOTB family i'm editing is the "supply diffuser" air terminal.
