Adding Panel Parameters

We're working on updating our panel schedule templates, and we'd like to add certain parameters, for example, "Main Options", or "General Note A". Most of them would be text parameters. What's the best route for adding these? My concern is that adding Instance-based Project parameters is going to add these parameters to all Electrical Equipment, but that means they'll show up on other devices like disconnects or transfer switches, not just on our panel schedules. Is there an alternative? I believe I tried adding them as family parameters to one of our panel families, but then I was unable to add them when editing the panel schedule templates from the project.

Hello,

You have to create them as a shared parameter, and then you can use them in your schedules.
Save your shared parameter files in a network place, like a server, so you can get the same parameter every time you create a new family without being forced to use the same computer.

If I place a variety of shared parameters (type or instance, does not matter) on a panel, and load that panel into my project, I can add those parameters to a schedule of panels. However, I cannot add them to a Panel Schedule using the Edit a Template tool. They do not appear in the "Add Parameter:" dropdown in the upper left.
