Please add the feature to duplicate a sheet - i.e. just right-click on a sheet and go to duplicate without views (perhaps ask for a neme at that point.)
I agree.. I struggle with this every day and wonder to myself why I have to create a new sheet, then duplicate the views, then rename the views, change phase, create references on the previous so I can locate in same spot on new sheet, drag onto sheet, move to same reference location.. yada yada yada..
It would be so easy to just right-click, duplicate sheet and views (as copy), then go back and rename the copied views to whatever you want.. change their phase, then done..
there is a samll workaround for this. select the sheet you want to duplicate. remoce all views from it right click in the browser window and selcet copy to clipboard. press the undo button (to get the views to your original sheet) press the modify tab and paste from clipboard option and your sheet is duplicated with parameter info just need to add your views
It should be context aware as well, so that if you select a sheet in one area of the project browser, it adds the correct sequential number and keeps it within the same grouping.
There is any difference between "Duplicate Sheet with Views" and the "Reuse Sheets instead of Duplicate from scratch " in the Roadmap? If so, can you clarify what the difference is? @kimberly_fuhrman-jones@harlan_brumm
